Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for Project Controls to join our team in the Hopewell, VA area. This position manages planning, scheduling, cost estimates, cost analysis and reporting on construction/maintenance or turnaround projects. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Project Controls Director and/or Project Manager; Establishes procedures for specific goals in a broad area of work / only results are reviewed / develops procedures within limits of policy and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Four-year business degree or 2-year technical degree or equivalent combinations training and/or related experience
  • Basic knowledge of resource monitoring techniques
  • Ability to follow procedures/directions required
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Perform variety of schedule tasks such as manpower expenditures, quantity installations, collecting actual progress data per schedule, etc.
  • Assist in preparing routine and/or special request reports per established instructions, department procedures and deadlines
  • Assist schedule engineers in compiling schedule data, preparing schedules and manpower forecasts, etc.
  • May calculate/prepare material and work quantities (takeoffs), comparison reports, charts, and tables for project analysis
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
