About The Position

The position involves leading application support efforts for the Project Controls department, focusing on the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of software integrations for Capital Project Management System (CPMS) tools. The role requires ownership of CPMS applications and integrations, including project management tools such as Unifier, P6, Starfish, Adaptors, and corporate systems like PeopleSoft and PowerPlan. The individual will coordinate with cross-functional teams, advocate for process enhancements, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CPMS applications across the organization. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting technical issues, developing workflows, and creating documentation to support CPMS tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of related experience for Senior-level role.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience for Principal-level roles.
  • Holds or actively pursues Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of project management and project controls processes.
  • Ability to learn and apply job-specific software tools effectively.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and programming languages such as SQL.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Oracle applications including Unifier, Primavera P6, and PeopleSoft.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of PowerPlan.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Power BI for reporting and analytics (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
  • Efficiently manages multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
