About The Position

We are looking for a Project Control Specialist to join ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Mid-West offices. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree, and five years of related experience. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or equivalent fields
  • 0-3 years’ experience in a leadership role in project controls; 1 to 3 years in a supervisory role is beneficial.
  • This position requires excellent organizational skills in order to accommodate multiple tasks simultaneously and excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • This individual must be a self-motivated individual and be able to work well with others

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) preferred
  • Experience managing and tracking RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals

Responsibilities

  • Invoicing & Financial Coordination
  • Support monthly invoicing activities by gathering backup, organizing information, and assisting with reviews
  • Assist with tracking subconsultant invoices and coordinating documentation
  • Maintain invoice and billing logs to support timely processing
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, tracking logs, basic reporting)
  • Ability to maintain organized project documentation and records
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines F
