Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team. The Solutions Architect provides industry knowledge, conducts requirements workshops, guides the overall design of solutions that include EcoSys when implemented and integrated with other Hexagon products, and serves as a consistent presence throughout the implementation lifecycle for multiple, concurrent, large and complex, global cross-product implementations. They will lead and support strategic initiatives and operational activities. The Solutions Architect works closely with the VP of Solutions Excellence and the Americas Services leadership team to enhance solutions and proven practices to improve project performance and quality. The Senior Solutions Architect has multiple years of experience in business process design and guiding customers on Hexagon solution design and implementation.

  • Develop and retain a high level of expertise on Hexagon's EcoSys solution and continually develop an understanding of the functionality and architecture of other Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence products and how they combine into a solution to meet complex customer needs
  • Provide feedback and contribute to the product roadmap, standard product design, and product enhancement requests
  • Consult on highly complex projects requiring in-depth knowledge across multiple business areas
  • Provide solution architecture direction for technical consultants in support of the defined technical approach
  • Collaborate with implementation team to design and configure solutions to meet defined requirements
  • Communicate high-level designs to technical team and advise on how business decisions will impact design results
  • Analyze customer business needs and recommend appropriate business solutions and strategy
  • Resolve challenges and mitigate risks by identifying alternatives to customer issues and providing recommendations
  • Strongly advocates the Hexagon implementation methodology and contributes to continuous improvements of the implementation methodology
  • Cultivates innovation within the North America Services organization to accelerate time-to-value for our customers
  • Knowledge transition from sales/pre-sales related to preliminary solution architecture design as communicated to the customer
  • Develop solution architectures that depict the customer's current and target architectural landscape by assessing the customer's current state and desired outcome
  • Validate the feasibility of the solution architecture design with internal subject matter experts
  • Develop solution architecture models to guide configuration decisions for the solution and ensure all standards and design artifacts are documented and managed by their respective teams (e.g., implementation)
  • Provide leadership and directly participate in the development of and compliance with principles, strategies, frameworks, and standards
  • Mentor and facilitate the development of Hexagon implementation consultants and solution architects
  • Work collaboratively with other departments both inside and outside of the Americas services organization to further strategic business objectives
  • 5+ years of digital transformation experience in the discipline of project controls, including hands-on software implementation
  • Lead implementation consultant for three complex implementations from define to deliver (see Smart Services Methodology stages) leveraging the EPP Solution Delivery Methodology
  • Skilled at requirement elicitation and documentation
  • Superb communication skills with experience working with both a project team and direct customer communication
  • Has worked with customers to position Hexagon as a provider of solutions across multiple products in support of their business processes
  • Demonstrates understanding of multiple products across Hexagon and how they work together to solve customer challenges
  • Proven track record for individual contributions to improving Services delivery
  • Ability to adjust and adapt well to various circumstances
  • In-depth understanding of enterprise architecture standards and the demonstrated ability to advocate and enforce their use
  • Expertise in process analysis, development, and documentation
  • Understanding of API development architecture (e.g., REST, SOAP)
  • Understanding of cloud-based architectures
  • Understanding of common application development frameworks (Java/J2EE)
