The Project Controls Office (PCO) Leader (Project Controls Director) will oversee a team dedicated to supporting ENGIE's North America Flexible Generation (FlexGen) projects. This role involves managing project costs and progress, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving continuous improvement within the Project Delivery organization. The PCO Leader will coordinate with various functional teams and be responsible for developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance project management efficiency.

  • Lead a project controls team consisting of project analysts and schedule specialists.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities and workload of the PCO staff in support of all FlexGen projects.
  • Coordinate and liaise with ENGIE's Industrial Project Oversight, Investment Oversight, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, and other functional teams.
  • Hire, train, and develop the PCO staff; develop staffing plans to support the PCO and Project Delivery team's objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor critical Project Delivery KPIs using dashboards and analysis of data.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve template documents used to manage projects such as Project Schedules, WBS structures, and periodic reports.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related financial or technical discipline is required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in project controls related to physical/construction projects.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and lead a project controls team.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing business and project conditions.
  • Solid competency in project controls and earned value management.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Procore.
