The Project Controls Manager is required onsite to oversee a project controls staff as well as provide comprehensive cost control, reports and forecasts for both the project team and the client.
Develop and maintain multiple project cost reports (both internal & client) on a weekly basis.
Develop and maintain multiple reports on weekly and monthly labor progress and performance reports (both internal and client), project cost tracking reports for indirect labor, rental equipment, and subcontracts.
Assist with development and maintenance of change management system including change orders, budget shifts, and trends including contingency management.
Timely and accurate forward-looking analysis and mitigation plan development to reduce or eliminate unforeseen cost impacts.
Actively participate in reviews of all project controls deliverables with the project team.
Assist management in forecasting the project expected costs for monthly reporting purposes.
Develop and maintain budgets in progress tracking tool.
Assist with auditing payroll coding on a weekly basis.
Perform data audits to ensure accuracy of information.
Liaison with the procurement and billing departments.
Make costs corrections.
Understand earned value management systems.
Manage and oversee Project Controls Staff including a scheduler and a team that will be utilized in the development of work packages and tracking progress.
Min 10 years of experience in Project Controls.
Possess thorough working knowledge of scheduling and costing principles.
Proficiency in MS Office and Primavera is required.
