Project Controls Engineer As a Project Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in project oversight, execution, tracking, and reporting on project progress. What You Will Do: Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project cost and schedule baselines, coordinating/leading regular project status updates for project reporting, along with mentoring/coaching project personnel on cost and schedule control. By effectively managing these areas, you will ensure projects stay on track, within budget, and meet their objectives. We’d love to hear from People With: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business 5-8 Years of Direct Experience Proficiency with Primavera scheduling software Proficiency with Cobra or similar cost processor Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Working knowledge of cost engineering/cost control Working knowledge of Risk Management process and associated software Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within high pressure work site environment A Successful Candidate Brings: Strong Analytical Skills: To analyze project data and identify potential issues or opportunities Problem-Solving Skills: To develop creative solutions to challenges that arise during project execution Communication Skills: To effectively communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and clients Technical skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial tools (Cobra); risk management software and estimating software experience a plus Leadership Skills: To motivate and guide the project team and directly support the project controls manager Current Q security clearance is a plus In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
