About The Position

Consertus is looking for a Project Controls Analyst who will prepare and update owner’s project budgets and schedules in a team environment. They will develop, monitor, and update specific cost reporting to allow owner’s facilities projects to be executed in the most efficient manner possible. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May act independently on assigned projects with work product reviewed by program controls lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or equivalent experience required.
  • 0 - 2 years of project controls or project management experience with an emphasis on cost management or scheduling of construction projects.
  • Excel proficiency is required.
  • Well-developed communications skills are required to effectively engage all levels of the project team, client organization, designers and contractors in capital cost related matters.
  • Must be able to provide concise status reports and assessments of critical issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on multiple projects, separate funding sources, locations, etc. being managed by a centralized team is preferred.
  • Experience in cost analysis during planning, design, and construction phases is preferred.
  • Experience in developing and updating project schedules is preferred.
  • PM, CM, or Project Controls related professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Owner’s project budgets and supporting documents in collaboration with project management for approval.
  • Maintains and prepares monthly Cost Report and Cash Flow for several projects with supervision.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of cost accruals for assigned projects
  • Prepare input to monthly/quarterly Reports.
  • Maintains change management reporting
  • As applicable able to effectively work with project management, engineering, finance, and construction partners in matters of cost and schedule measurement.
  • Review contractor’s schedule submissions with project team members regularly to ensure accuracy and alignment with cost forecast.
