About The Position

The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for programs of varying size, complexity, and level of risk. This role ensures efficient and timely completion of work in accordance with Government and Plant directives. The analyst provides leadership for planning, scheduling, cost tracking, scope management, controls, analysis, progress reporting, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
  • Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, SAP, WebEVM, and/or Acumen

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of relevant experience preferred
  • Working knowledge and understanding of DOE policies, procedures, and requirements in areas associated with program management
  • Previous experience with compliant EVMS projects or programs
  • Professional certification from AACE or PMI
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, organization, and schedule compliance
  • Demonstrated skills in cost control, change management, and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • High level of motivation and standards
  • Teamwork experience to address program issues

Responsibilities

  • Plans program cost, schedule, and risk
  • Utilizes tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report on cost and schedule
  • Interacts with internal and external stakeholders to collect performance and tracking data
  • Performs analysis; develops estimate to complete forecasts
  • Performs schedule, cost, and resource variance analysis
  • Develops progress reports
  • Identifies and tracks changes/potential changes to program scope to give management visibility to cost and schedule impacts
  • Conducts effective cost and schedule trending processes
  • Supports corrective actions
  • Ensures the data integrity and configuration control
  • Facilitates team communications and meetings
  • Assists with customer interactions, including tracking program management deliverables and presenting program status to external or internal customers
  • Performs budgeting and forecasting responsibilities in support of program planning and fiscal year planning
