About The Position

Intrepid Solutions, a CIS company, is looking for a Project Control Analyst to suppport the acquisition management function of a new contract that is anticipated to begin in September, 2025. This contract is providing research, analysis, and modernization support services to a DoD customer. This role will be incorporated into the modernization planning support area. We expect that the Project Control Analyst would be able to handle the below responsibilities and exceed the minimum qualifications listed.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required at the time of application for initial consideration. This position is not open to clearance sponsorship, upgrade, or reactivation.
  • Bachelor’s degree, desired.
  • 7 years of progressive experience related to the responsibilities listed above.
  • Experience in Global Positioning System modernization/M-Code, Global Navigation Satellite System constellations, Alternative Positioning, Navigation ang Timing Technologies and Electromagnetic Warfare.
  • Experience in Acquisition program functions and associated Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBES) processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Planning and Budget Execution: Develop and maintain budget plans, cost estimates, and funding profiles across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle. Assist in managing the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) activities, ensuring alignment with program milestones and requirements.
  • Monitor and Analyze Project Performance: Track program cost, schedule, and performance metrics using Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and techniques. Provide detailed variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and Support Acquisition Activities: Ensure compliance with DoD 5000 series guidance and other applicable federal acquisition regulations. Collaborate with program managers and acquisition professionals to prepare milestone documentation, program reviews, and acquisition strategies.
  • Provide Technical Program Support: Apply subject matter expertise in GPS modernization/M-Code, GNSS, A-PNT, and Electromagnetic Warfare to assess program impacts, risks, and dependencies. Support technical reviews and coordinate across stakeholders to validate system requirements and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and Present Program Documentation and Briefings: Develop high-quality presentations, briefings, and reports for senior DoD leadership, integrating technical, financial, and schedule data. Translate complex program data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Interface with Stakeholders and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs): Act as a liaison between government customers, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure alignment and communication across all levels of the program. Facilitate working group meetings and coordinate input from multiple functional areas.
  • Support Risk Management and Strategic Planning: Identify programmatic and technical risks related to PNT and EW systems and develop mitigation strategies. Contribute to long-range planning efforts to align modernization initiatives with strategic defense objectives.
