About The Position

The Project Control Analyst, Associate will be responsible for various aspects of project controls, client billing, revenue management support, financial reporting, compliance, and collaboration with project managers. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management within a government contracting environment, ensuring accurate project cost estimates, forecasts, and budgets while monitoring project performance and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project control, financial management, or related roles in a GOVCON environment.
  • Proven experience with client billing and revenue management support for government contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting regulations (FAR, CAS).
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP system Deltek Costpoint.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project cost estimates, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance, track costs, and report variances against baselines to project managers.
  • Perform cost and schedule analysis to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support contract modifications by preparing financial impact analyses.
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy of client invoices in compliance with contract terms.
  • Reconcile billed and unbilled amounts to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Perform monthly revenue forecasts and track actuals against targets.
  • Prepare and present monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Support monthly and year-end close processes, including revenue accruals and expense adjustments.
  • Analyze financial performance trends to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, government regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Provide inputs for incurred cost submissions and ensure alignment with contract terms.
  • Act as a financial advisor to Project Managers and Service Delivery portfolio owners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with contracts and operations teams.
