About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Control Account Management Specialist (Senior or Lead) (Level 4 or 5) to join the Protected Tactical Enterprise Service (PTES) Project Management team in Colorado Springs, CO ! The Control Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for planning, executing, and controlling assigned project control accounts to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance are met. The CAM serves as the single point of accountability for cost, schedule, and technical integration of assigned work packages, interfaces with stakeholders across engineering, program management, contracts, and finance, and drives performance to meet program objectives. This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • 3+ years of experience have managing EVM metrics
  • Experience in Financial Analytical skills and Data management

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of CAM activities for the program; including organization and scope, work authorization, scheduling, budgeting, detailed work planning and measuring earned value against that plan
  • Communicate with leadership, finance team members, technical team leaders and stakeholders
  • Work within the Earned Value Management (EVM) Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) rules
  • Understanding of compliance requirements for a Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) program
  • Continually analyzing data, monitoring anomalies and updating forecasts
  • Provide Program Management support for both external suppliers and internal technical teams
