About The Position
The Project Consultant is a 100% field‑based, door‑to‑door (D2D) sales role responsible for generating new business through in‑person outreach, home visits, and direct customer engagement . You will represent Aspen Contracting’s roofing, siding, and gutter services to homeowners, explain our process, and guide customers from first contact through signed agreement. This role is fast-paced, people-focused, and requires confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills. If you enjoy being outside, meeting new people, and driving your own results, this is a great fit.
Requirements
- Comfortable with door‑to‑door sales and outdoor work
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self‑motivated, driven, and goal oriented
- Able to manage your own schedule independently
- Professional and trustworthy with homeowners
- Willing to learn roofing, siding, and gutter basics (we train you)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- No prior roofing experience required
Responsibilities
- Go door‑to‑door in assigned Knoxville neighborhoods to introduce our services
- Build rapport with homeowners and explain roofing, siding, and gutter solutions
- Conduct initial property assessments (training provided)
- Educate customers on storm damage, insurance processes, and repair options
- Generate new leads and manage follow-ups
- Create estimates and present proposals
- Secure signed contracts and hand off projects to production
- Maintain daily activity tracking and follow-through
- Represent Aspen professionally in the field and with customers
