Expression of Interest - Project Construction Lead (Data Center)
About The Position
Lead the end-to-end construction process for data center projects (greenfield and brownfield). Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and client specifications. Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Procurement, Operations, Security, IT/Network) and external vendors. Manage contractors, commissioning agents, and specialty subcontractors. Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders. Drive a “Safety First” culture on-site; enforce health and safety protocols. Implement QA/QC processes and monitor adherence to design and construction standards. Perform inspections and audits to ensure quality and compliance. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage change orders, cost forecasts, and contract administration. Oversee commissioning activities to validate system performance. Ensure smooth handover to operations team with complete documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in data center or mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, power distribution, cooling systems, and network infrastructure.
