About The Position

We are seeking a Lead Civil Engineer who will lead and coordinate the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects across diverse market sectors. This individual will play a pivotal role in mentoring staff, driving technical excellence, and fostering client relationships. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Minimum 6 years of experience in civil design and land development.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Strong technical experience in stormwater design, site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and motivating teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial, office, retail, or mixed-use projects.
Familiarity with local, city, county, and state land use regulations.
Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for site visits and client meetings.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects.
Mentor staff and drive technical excellence within the team.
Foster and manage client relationships to generate new business.
Develop and manage projects from concept through construction documentation.
Ensure compliance with local, city, county, and state land use regulations.
Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Perform technical and proposal writing as well as hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
Prepare site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control designs.
