Project Bridge Design Engineer
About The Position
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 7+ years' relevant experience in bridge engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) Certification Skills required: Must possess excellent technical skills in the design of bridges and other transportation-related structures, including experience with AASHTO LRFD Software skills required: familiarity with LEAP Bridge (CONSPAN and RCPier specifically), MathCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office Experience with FDOT policies and procedures highly desired Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight Must possess the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously Must have solid communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to convey information to technical and non-technical individuals. A valid driver's license. Experience with FDOT, SCDOT, GDOT, and/or TxDOT bridge policies and procedures desired Bridge Maintenance experience Bridge Inspection experience Design-Build experience
