About The Position

New opening f or a Project-Based CWI Inspector in Syracuse/Albany, NY area. This position will be handling visual field work primarily on fabrication welds for natural gas pipelines and process piping. This position is project based work and will be working directly on the client site with minimal in office interaction. Come join a company that cares about you and your career! Must be a US Citizen This position offers a $1500.00 sign on bonus too! This is a local position to Syracuse/Albany, NY area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 3 year experience in related field.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• 2 or more Mechanical/Professional certification: API 653, AWS, NACE, Etc.
• 1 Mechanical/Professional certification: CWI required
• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.

Nice To Haves

• Certified in RT, MT or PT Lv. 2 a nice plus

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections to determine if items under inspection meet the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document.
• Conduct inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the equipment as qualified and assigned.
• Properly interpret regulations, codes, and industry standards.

• Pay range for this position is between USD $50 to $60 per hour.
