About The Position

The Project Assistant will provide administrative support for State assessment projects. Job Location: This person will be working at the Honolulu, HI Cambium Office Job Responsibilities: Provides general administrative support. Schedules meetings and maintains calendars. Develops and maintains efficient filing and tracking system for the projects. Prepares meeting agendas including gathers discussion topics, drafts, and circulates and finalized agenda. Provides meeting support, including the following: Selecting venues including contracting with caterers, audio-visual teams and transportation Drafting and sending out meeting invitations Managing logistics including arranging travel, lodging and parking. Overseeing the meeting by making sure the meeting room is set-up correctly, handling unexpected issues and making sure the meeting is running smoothly. Prepares meeting expense vouchers, travel reimbursements and invoices and submits to CBO. Assists with production and assembly of reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Performs general office tasks including photocopying, faxing, phone calls, e-mail, Federal Express. Works with web-based documentation system. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Flexibility and ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Acute attention to detail and strong work ethic
