About The Position

Great news - United Trades of America is looking for a sharp Project Support Specialist to join our Meridian, Mississippi team! You'll be right in the thick of project action, keeping things organized, on time, and well-documented. In this role, you'll track change orders, RFIs, submittals and schedules, manage logs and flow sheets, and lend a hand with monthly billing and reports. You'll handle day-to-day office tasks: filing, correspondence logs, meeting schedules, photos, and data entry to keep every document exactly where it should be. You'll maintain all those critical procedures and manuals, update our filing systems, and make sure our library is well stocked with current information. If juggling deadlines sounds like fun, we want to hear from you. You'll also price material vouchers, keep tabs on certified payroll and compliance forms, get quotes, and order materials. Creating and updating material flow sheets and archiving project documents will be a regular part of your week, along with prepping reports and PowerPoint decks to keep our leadership in the loop.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (or higher) in business or construction management
  • At least a year or two of experience in project or document control
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, Suretrack, and maybe even Oracle or SharePoint
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to organize information
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to work smoothly with people at all levels
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
