The position involves assisting in the management of the Tulane NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) Healthy Body and Mind Screening Program. The role includes various administrative duties related to NFL programs within the Center for Sport. Responsibilities include managing screening and event scheduling/planning for the program, as assigned, and supporting the Program Director and Care Coordinators in all clinical and research tasks. The candidate is expected to collaborate with the Program Director, faculty, fellows, and staff members in an academic medical center.

  • Assist in the management of the Tulane NFL Player Care Foundation Healthy Body and Mind Screening Program.
  • Manage screening and event scheduling/planning for the program as assigned.
  • Support the Program Director and Care Coordinators in clinical and research tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with faculty, fellows, and staff members in an academic medical center.
  • Able to travel a minimum of 1 week a month.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to work well with others.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient data entry skills; familiarity with electronic database management and reporting.
  • Basic skills in performing mathematical calculations, balancing and reconciling figures, proper punctuation, spelling, and accurate transcription.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
  • Ability to work with high-profile patients and program partners professionally and with discretion.
  • Computer proficiency in using Excel spreadsheets, Adobe Reader, and Microsoft programs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a medical office directly related to patient interaction, customer service, registration/patient verification.
