About the position

The Project Architect at Actalent is responsible for overseeing the design and technical development of architectural projects. This role involves performing code reviews, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring the quality of construction documents. The Project Architect will also coordinate with consultants, maintain project files, and communicate project tasks effectively to clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform code review and ensure compliance with project budget and schedule.
• Select, evaluate, and implement design components used in projects.
• Evaluate existing conditions and formulate responses to challenges.
• Take responsibility for significant aspects of larger projects and work on smaller projects.
• Supervise and produce Construction Documents through CAD and BIM.
• Coordinate and ensure quality assurance/quality control of consultants' work.
• Manage Construction Administration for select projects.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of construction techniques and material selection.
• Maintain project files for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Document and communicate specific project tasks to clients and team members.
• Comply with internal project budgets and team hours.
• Design and implement project scope of work while adhering to schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in architecture or related field.
• Licensed architect preferred.
