Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Principal in Charge and Project Designers to create and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Lead and coordinate design teams including subconsultants, supporting team development through mentorship, empowerment, and strategic delegation.
  • Direct and ensure high-quality documentation, offering technical guidance and innovative design solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings with clear organization and communication skills, presenting ideas effectively and engaging clients.
  • Maintain design stewardship during the construction phase through fostering collaboration and coordination with contractor, client and consultants.
  • Work closely with dedicated project accountants to maintain and manage project budgets financial health.
  • Collaborate with office leadership on proposal preparation and actively participate interview processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.
  • Strong technical skills with high proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of building codes, construction systems, and the permitting process.
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • LEED AP, CPHC/CPHD and Architectural Licensure preferred.
