About The Position

We are currently hiring a Project Architect in our Sports & Entertainment Studio, in our Architectural division, in our Charlotte NC office location. The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including Healthcare, Higher Education, Sports and Entertainment, Commercial, Multi-Family and Mixed-Use, Residential, and Municipal. Duties: The overall expectations of the Project Architect position are to work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. An individual in this position needs to be capable of delegating aspects of work to the Project Technician and coordinating with all other disciplines. The Project Architect will assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. In addition, the Project Architect must be motivated and capable of performing all duties with minimal guidance. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Registered Architect in the state of North Carolina (desirable but not required)
  • 7-10+ years of experience
  • Have thorough knowledge and understanding of North Carolina building codes
  • Strong technical design and construction document skills
  • Well-developed project design and planning skills
  • Excellent graphic presentation skills
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project)

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Architect in the state of North Carolina (desirable but not required)
