About The Position

A TCA Project Architect (PA) interacts directly with teams organized around projects, managing clients, as well as internal personnel and external consultants. The Project Architect (PA) works directly with a Studio Director (SD) and Project Manager (PM) to direct a project team starting early in the schematic design process and continuing throughout the production of contract documents and into construction administration. In addition to the SD and PM, the PA will collaborate with designers, other project teams and various consultants, as well as our internal Quality Control team to efficiently deliver the design intent of the project. Tasks include code review, oversight and creation of the complete contract documents and specifications, including redlining drawings and specifications, agency processing, preparation of Additional Service Requests, coordination and management of consultants, and training and mentoring of the documentation team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years' architectural experience required
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience on multi-family projects
  • Knowledge of Revit required
  • Excellent organization skills required
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
  • California licensed Architect required

Nice To Haves

  • Construction administration experience preferred
