About The Position

Currently ZURU Tech is at a watershed moment. After many years of work we are finally looking to deliver on the dream of building factory-produced houses! We are currently looking to fortify the team with talented and enthusiastic professionals who aspire to leave their mark on the world. As Project Architect you will lead the design and development of high-end luxury properties in Los Angeles and Abroad. In this role, you will work directly with leadership at ZURU, managing every phase of the architectural process from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and has a passion for luxury design. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the development of residences, seeing designs brought to life while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and design innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in high-end residential or luxury property design.
• Experience working on bespoke, high-end residential or commercial projects for discerning clients.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional design solutions for luxury properties.
• Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, etc.) and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring design accuracy and quality control.
• Ability to solve complex design and technical issues while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
• Licensed in California required.
• Licensed in Hawaii is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from conceptualization through execution.
• Develop innovative and luxurious design solutions that align with ZURU’s vision and adhere to best practices in architecture.
• Oversee the production of detailed construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local building codes and regulations.
• Work closely with ZURU leadership, consultants, contractors, and internal team members to ensure design integrity, timelines, and budgets are maintained.
• Manage all phases of the project, including site analysis, design development, construction documentation, and administration.
• Ensure that the project meets the highest standards of luxury and design, overseeing quality control during construction and addressing any design-related issues.
• Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring the project stays within financial parameters and meets key deadlines.
