In this thrilling role, you'll embark on field expeditions to explore historic sites, excavate long-lost structures, and analyze artifacts that shed light on human history. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of scientists, historians, and conservationists, turning fragments of the past into stories that shape our understanding of the present. The Project Archaeologist serves as a close aid to the Principal Investigator. They are also responsible for the successful design, execution, and completion of cultural resource surveys and reporting. This person may be supervise other staff on a variety of tasks and/or coordinate with them for the completion of project deliverables. This person may be asked to review and QA/QC field data, coordinate with GIS personnel for appropriate data exports and figures, complete portions of, or entire cultural resource background reviews, scopes of work, investigation results reports and/or consultation letters.
