The Project Analyst supports Program Managers and Project Managers by applying standardized project management processes, tools, and governance frameworks. This role partners with the business to organize, plan, and monitor initiatives to ensure projects are structured, traceable, and aligned with organizational strategy. The Project Analyst provides coordination, documentation, reporting, and tooling support across projects in flight, enabling informed decision-making, execution discipline, and continuous improvement of EPMO practices. This is an entry-level role designed to build foundational project management and analytical skills within a regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of professional experience; prior internships or exposure to Project Management, Banking, or business operations preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Possess proactive problem-solving skills with the awareness of using tools to maximize productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity with Project Management tools, dashboards, or project tracking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers and Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities to maintain momentum and execution discipline
  • Coordinate and document projects in flight, ensuring tasks, timelines, and dependencies are current and accurate
  • Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions, action items, risks, assumptions, and outcomes
  • Maintain project artifacts to remain current and distribute to project stakeholders as necessary
  • Ensure version control and audit readiness of project documentation in accordance with EPMO standards
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise governance standards, documentation requirements, and stage-gate processes
  • Provide administration and user support of enterprise project management tools and standard templates
  • Partner with the business to support project planning, resource planning, and project plan development for business-led initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EPMO processes, tools, and best practices
  • Collect and analyze project data to monitor progress, identify risks, and highlight gaps or issues
  • Prepare and maintain dashboards, status reports, and other management reporting for stakeholders
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Program Managers, Project Managers, project sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Document and distribute meeting minutes and project updates to ensure transparency and alignment across stakeholders
