The Project Analyst will play a key role in supporting project delivery, operational excellence, and strategic decision‑making across the organization. This position requires deep expertise in Deltek Vantagepoint, particularly in report development, dashboard creation, and project management workflows. As a Project Analyst, you will collaborate closely with company leadership and project managers, leveraging your analytical skills to optimize processes, deliver insights, and drive consistent adoption of best practices. Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Deltek Vantagepoint Expertise Develop, customize, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics within Deltek Vantagepoint to support operational visibility and strategic decision-making. Serve as the internal subject-matter expert (SME) for the Vantagepoint platform’s project-management features, reporting tools, and configuration capabilities. Troubleshoot Vantagepoint issues and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve system-related problems. Project Management Support Analyze project performance metrics (profitability, schedules, budgets, utilization, resource allocation) and provide actionable insights to project managers and leadership. Ensure consistent application of the company’s project‑management standards, workflows, and methodologies. Evaluate project data for accuracy, identify risks or anomalies, and recommend corrective actions. Training and Enablement Provide ongoing training, coaching, and guidance to project managers and operational staff on how to effectively use Deltek Vantagepoint. Develop training materials, documentation, and best practice guides to support platform adoption. Assist in onboarding new team members on project‑management processes and system usage. Strategic Process Improvement Partner with leadership to review and refine project‑management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long‑term strategy. Recommend enhancements to system configuration, workflows, and reporting to improve operational efficiency. Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives that require strong analytical, communication, and change‑management skills. Leverage Deltek Vantagepoint to oversee project budgets, schedules, resource assignments, and performance tracking. Align process improvement to strategic organizational objectives.
