About The Position

Position Summary: Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; research, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies, or procedures for possible implementation. This position will work closely with PBFS Director, PBFS Management, PBFS Finance, IT, front-end clinics/management and outside vendors and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses.
  • Strong policy analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Minimum 2 years billing experience in an academic setting highly preferred to include working knowledge of billing and accounts receivable principles in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • Analytical / problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
