The work: ICF is seeking a Manager, Research and Development (SETA 2) to support science and engineering innovation programs at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Your work will contribute to enabling the U.S. to uphold its leadership in innovation in science and engineering. Job Location: This role is hybrid in Alexandria, VA. What you will do: Support a wide range of technology, research and development, and programmatic tasks. Provide technical and program support to program directors managing an R&D portfolio of awardees. Assist with management of awardees, milestone capture, and development of program briefings and technical reports for NSF leadership and interagency partners. Coordinate and participate in technical and programmatic discussions with government, industry, and other stakeholders to initiate new partnerships and program concepts. Coordinate and support technical meetings and conferences. Provide high-level systems engineering and programmatic expertise to support the full life cycle of process and system improvement for current, expanding, and new TIP programs. Conduct data analysis (in coordination with the data analytics team) to draw valuable insights for programmatic decisions and improve communication. Ensure a positive user experience for various programs. As needed, serve as a team lead, managing the implementation of tasks and team member management.
