Project Accountant - Commercial Construction

We are looking for an organized, driven, and experienced Project Accountant to oversee projects out of our Bellevue, Washington office. The Project Accountant asssits the Project Taeams in the overall accounting management of project invoicing and billing, ensuring timely, consistent and accurate pay applicantion issuance.
Requirements
- Associates in accounting or better
- Experience with Procore
- Prior work history in Commercial Construction preferred
Responsibilities
- Closely oversee daily project financial operations to ensure compliance with established goals
- Responsible for drafting & updating project forecasts ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Drafts pay applications, reviews w/ PMs, optimizes budget, pushes process, meets deadline
- Direct the solicitation & timely collection of Subcontractor and Vender bills and invoices
- Provide ongoing communication to the team regarding billing & invoicing on their respective projects
- Oversee the filing, processing & input into Procore of receipts, billings, invoices per the current SOP
- Ensure job specific invoicing records are accurately maintained and are current
- Closely manages project estimated costs, committed costs, margin, reports variances to PM
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with subcontractor and supplier account representatives
- Provide technical project accounting assistance and direction as needed/required
