About The Position

Key Responsibilities Track, analyze, and report on the financial status and performance of assigned projects. Ensure financial procedures, controls, and policies are established and followed to meet all contractual and compliance obligations. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with local, state, and corporate policies. Maintain a strong working knowledge of revenue recognition, project invoicing, journal entry preparation, and general accounting principles. Support management and clients by translating financial data into clear, understandable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Perform month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records. Process payroll, manage accounts payable, and prepare and issue accounts receivable invoices. Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses across multiple funding sources, and communicate overall contract financial health. Administer supplier contract terms, verify compliance, and review and process payments. Prepare financial performance reviews and maintain accurate, up-to-date project financial documentation. Support fiscal operations including financial planning, fund management, accounting, reporting, and disbursement activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field, with 3+ years of accounting experience and a desire to make a meaningful impact. Prior experience with cost accounting, government fund accounting, and/or Oracle strongly preferred. Self-motivated, adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams. Highly driven and action-oriented, with proven success managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Proactive problem-solver who takes pride in identifying and resolving issues related to business practices, quality, and internal controls.
