About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals as a Project Accountant supporting our new 1B stadium construction in Cleveland, OH. Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision. Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings. Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices. Performs audits and generates special financial reports. Reviews projects for accurate revenue recognition and provides project analysis and recommendations based on findings. Matrixed environment, reports to local Project Executive and Regional Controller. Requirements

  • BA/BS Business, Finance or relevant curriculum and 2 years of accounting experience or A/AS and 4 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Construction project accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in construction accounting.
  • Experience with construction financial documentation.
  • Strong Excel experience.

Nice To Haves

  • CMiC or Textura experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate ownership of processes.
