Your top priority is to support the project financial management activities for the project management team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policy, process, and contractual requirements.
Support the regional project teams to maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide analysis and insights during the monthly and quarterly forecast updates.
Draw on your understanding of cost to date and cost to complete to articulate the financial position of projects.
Support the change order management process by collaborating with the project teams during pricing and preparing documentation for processing.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred
3 years minimum of accounting experience
1-3 year construction industry experience is required
Familiarity with construction contracts, job costing, and AIA progress billings
Construction Accounting: Experience in job costing and familiarity with construction accounting practices and terminology
Detail-Oriented: Comfortable with the details and intricacies of construction accounting and contracts, thorough and focused on the details
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication with Operations and Finance
Time Management: Effectively manage time to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
Organizational Skills: Manage multiple projects and deadlines, able to prioritize workload effectively
Collaboration: Confidence in collaborating with Operations and Finance to improve financial systems, policies, processes, and controls
