As our company continues to expand, we’re looking for a Project Accountant Manager who wants stability today and advancement tomorrow. To ensure that construction projects stay on budget and meet financial goals. Managing the accounts of a company’s construction project such as. Collaborate with the project managers to process monthly draws. Auditing payables, estimating cash flow, maintaining receivables. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Owners (AR), Vendors and Suppliers. Keeping abreast with both the construction and accounting industry including Lien Laws. Assist in setting up and maintaining construction project accounting files.

Requirements

  • Understanding in project accounting principles.
  • Monitoring project compliance and financial regulations for both Subcontractors & General Contractors.
  • Understanding of Florida’s Lien Rights & NTO’s.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective teamwork with accounting dept.
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Knowledge of Contract billing requirements.
  • High accuracy in recording transactions
  • AIA Billing for both Subcontractors & General Contractors.
  • Collections & Lien waivers.
  • Lien Preparation.
  • Subcontractor Change orders &, Back Charges.
  • Accounts Payables (Subcontractors and Suppliers)
