We’re Looking For BMWC is seeking an experienced individual who wants to utilize their skills and expertise to accurately and timely process union payroll and union fringe reporting and payments. This individual will contribute to the company’s growth and profitability while building strong relationships with both the internal teams and external customers. What you’ll Experience As a Project Accountant, you will:

Requirements

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency required
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and/or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
  • Union payroll experience preferred
  • Previous work experience in the construction industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new employees into ERP
  • Process weekly union payroll
  • Key and upload craft and G&A payroll for Indianapolis division
  • Respond to employees, unions, and other 3 rd parties regarding payroll inquiries
  • Process monthly union fringe contributions and deductions for the Midwest
  • Process and report on customer cash receipts and daily cash disbursements
  • Responsible for accurate and timely data entry, records management and reporting
  • Ensure data retention and information systems are updated and maintained appropriately within defined protocols and standards
  • Process accounts payable invoices related to payroll garnishments and union payments
  • Prepare reconciliations of union fringe benefits to payroll records and union portals
  • Reconcile payroll records with payments to 3 rd parties
