We have an immediate need for a full-time, exempt Project Accelerate (PA) Supervisor. The PA Supervisor sserves as the organizational lead for Project Accelerate across all Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn’s (GIBL) locations. Specifically, this position promotes holistic programming--including mentorship, internship placements, access to educational resources, and learning opportunities for young women--that equips participants with the skills to achieve long-term success and positive outcomes for themselves, their families, neighborhoods, organizations, and communities. The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 annually. As a full-time role, the PA Supervisor is eligible to participate in the organization's benefits program. POSITION OVERVIEW (What we’re looking for) The PA Supervisor manages the programming geared to transform workplace culture that prioritizes equity and advancement of women to positions of influence and ensure young women’s educational attainment and skill development for professional leadership roles. As the point person for this Project Accelerate, this role ensures alignment in structure, policy, and communication from Headquarters and provides consistent guidance and support to both Lynn and the Expansion team. The PA Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining alumni management, mentorship, and additional academic and career support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degreean accredited university in Psychology, Social Sciences, Education, Business, Administration, Communications, or another related field. The educational requirement may be substituted with four years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in education, facilitation, or youth development work.
  • Prior experience working with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences.
  • Knowledge of the college application and scholarship processes.
  • Possess strong organizational and supervisory skills in managing daily program operations, maintaining alignment with Girls Inc. national standards, and meeting GIBL program priorities.
  • Ability to supervise staff who facilitate college access and career readiness opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other office tools to conduct day-to-day administrative duties.
  • Experience in program planning & development, group facilitation, volunteer coordination, and partnership building within communities being served.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage volunteer coordination and community partnerships.
  • Understanding of program metrics to support the preparation of program reporting against established program guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an effective and active team player across GIBL departments.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Lynn Center and Boston, evening hours, and the occasional weekend event.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lynn neighborhoods and other communities and locations in the Expansion regions.
  • Experience working with and facilitating adult volunteers and community partners.
  • Fluent in multiple languages (English, English/Spanish, Haitian Creole/English, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the organizational lead and the immediate point of contact for Project Accelerate across all GIBL locations, ensuring alignment with agency-wide goals, policies, and practices.
  • Provide oversight and supervision in the coordination of college access and career readiness opportunities such as college visits and company tours.
  • Provide non-supervisory guidance to support the Expansion team’s delivery of Project Accelerate.
  • Partner with the Boston Expansion team to support the implementation of Project Accelerate, offering guidance, tools, and resources.
  • Act as a central hub for communication, structure, and policy guidance related to Project Accelerate, ensuring consistency and clarity across Lynn, Boston, and Headquarters.
  • Plan and coordinate the facilitation of college access programming for high school seniors and juniors throughout the academic year and summertime.
  • Share best practices and facilitate cross-site learning and collaboration to strengthen program quality and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively to recruit, interview, and orient teens for programs through schools, partner organizations, and social media.
  • Work with the Development department to recruit, interview, and train volunteers to serve as college access mentors, career coaches, and guest workshop presenters.
  • Supervise the Career and Academic Pathways Coordinator to coordinate college access and career readiness opportunities, such as college visits and company tours.
  • Develop, track, and maintain an alumni network to facilitate additional academic and career support.
  • Complete all program evaluations and grant reporting requirement
