About The Position

Purpose of the position is to operationalize, oversee, and monitor assigned research projects within Surgical Services professional departments, specifically focusing on the Department of Surgery and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. The position will be responsible for innovating, troubleshooting and improving upon research protocols related to specific studies, including the overall process for how studies are managed and reported for the department. Facilitation of quality improvement initiatives among external and internal stakeholders, as well as management of the medical student research process are also components of the role. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience
  • Master's Degree 1-2 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operationalize research projects.
  • Oversee and monitor research conduct, data quality, participant safely, and project progress.
  • Administration of the medical student request process.
  • Research Quality Improvement.

  • The pay range for this job begins at $27.04/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
  • Remote Work/Work from Home This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
