About The Position

We are currently hiring skilled Progressive Header Operators for our 2nd shift, which runs from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. This position offers a competitive pay rate of up to $60 per hour, along with a potential sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. The role requires a strong background in precision machining and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Progressive Header Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-die headers to manufacture precision aircraft quality fasteners. This is an on-site position located in City of Industry, CA, and you will be required to work five days a week at this location.

Requirements

• Experience in heading aircraft quality fasteners on multi-die machines (4 and 5 die Progressive Header) required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-die headers for manufacturing precision aircraft quality fasteners.
• Read and interpret documents (blue prints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to determine necessary tools and materials.
• Make settings and adjustments to produce parts to specifications.
• Select, mount, and align tooling attachments and materials in proper order.
• Load machines with raw material and monitor production run using measuring devices such as comparators, micrometers, and calipers.
• Rework and direct reworking of tooling as needed.
• Keep accurate statistical process control records and make adjustments during production runs as directed by SPC data.
• Meet and maintain all productivity levels and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.
• Provide training to departmental personnel for all aspects of machine setup and operation.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on assigned machines.
• Conduct record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follow safety regulations.
