About The Position

About the Role We are hiring experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This fast-paced environment requires strong critical thinking and the ability to care for patients recovering from acute illnesses, post-surgical procedures, and complex medical conditions. You’ll work closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care. Available Shifts Days (Rotating Weekends) Nights (Rotating Weekends, +$4/hr Differential)

Requirements

• 1+ years of recent acute care PCU experience (within the past year)
• Will consider candidates with: Recent acute ER RN experience OR 3+ years of acute Med-Surg RN experience
• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• Active FL or multistate compact RN license
• BLS required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS required within 60 days of hire

• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients requiring intermediate-level care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and perform unit-specific procedures
• Provide post-operative and post-acute nursing care
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and hospital standards
