About The Position

The Programming Coordinator for Memory Care at Spectrum Retirement Communities is a part-time role focused on enhancing the quality of life for residents through engaging activities and events. This position involves planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of adult-centric programs that cater to the cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational needs of the residents. The coordinator will also assist in providing medical transportation and encourage resident participation through positive interactions.

Requirements

• 3 years of driving experience with a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Proficiency in using Internet resources and current technology.
• Eagerness to learn and create a wonderful lifestyle for residents.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities and events for residents.
• Assist in developing a balanced monthly program calendar with diverse opportunities.
• Procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation in activities through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist the Director, Entertainment & Programming with medical transportation for residents.
• Help residents enter and exit community vehicles.
