About The Position

The Co-Director of Programming shall be responsible for co-chairing the Programming Board to fulfill the organization’s mission as the primary social programming entity on campus, providing regular events and activities that cater to a variety of diverse interests.

Requirements

Prior experience with campus programming, including service on the Programming Board is required.

Responsibilities

Co-chair Programming Board and supervise the Programming Board programming team through the facilitation of meetings, support of team members, team development opportunities, and other related tasks.
Facilitate the hiring process of the Programming Board Executive Board.
Meet weekly with the other Co-Director and Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Recruit and select Programming Board general membership through an application and interview process.
Lead the Programming Board in the development of a robust programming calendar via a semesterly event submission and selection process with the Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Facilitate large-scale events including New Student Orientation, the Fall Block Party, and SpringFest
Maintain three weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities.
Represent the Programming Board and its programmatic efforts to College and SGA bodies as requested.
Assist with Office of Student Activities initiatives including but not limited to training, Fall and Spring programming reports, Presence data review, financial reports, etc.
Facilitate the hiring and training processes for the following year’s Programming Board Co-Directors in conjunction with the Assistant Director and Director of Student Activities.
Facilitate the ongoing assessment of the Programming Board, to include feedback from the student body on programmatic efforts.
