About The Position

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a Programmer I to design, develop, and deliver technology solutions that support essential public-sector programs. The ideal candidate will apply technical expertise across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation, with a focus on a department-wide case management system.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development
  • Experience with C++ in application or systems development
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven apps)
  • Experience working with Dataverse
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of computer programming experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers to understand business processes and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Develop custom tools and services using Microsoft .NET APIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues independently or in collaboration with other technical staff
  • Write new programs of moderate to high complexity using established system designs, specifications, and development methodologies
  • Perform independent analysis and programming for complex activities and procedures
  • Participate in inter-agency design and implementation efforts, including data exchanges and system integrations (e.g., criminal justice systems)
  • Conduct thorough testing of developed code and applications; plan and execute deployments
  • Create and maintain comprehensive application documentation, including user guides, technical documentation, data dictionaries, and change logs
  • Attend and actively participate in business and technical meetings, project teams, and committees
