About The Position

The Programmer Analyst's role is to define, develop, test, analyze and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing and analyzing software programs and applications. This position will also be responsible for researching, designing, documenting and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

Requirements

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems or software engineering.
• One-year equivalent work experience required.
• Proficient in a variety of programming languages including Visual Studios, .Net, C#, ASP.NET, and FoxPro.
• Solid working knowledge of current Internet Technologies including HTML, XML, Web Services, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, Silverlight, and Flash.
• Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems and usability issues.
• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Developed at least one mobile application.
• Experience in development on the iOS or Android platforms preferred.
• Designed and developed apps that use both APIs and business embedded logic.
• Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
• Extensive relational database and operating systems experience with MSSQL, Oracle, and FoxPro.
• Thorough understanding of platforms such as Windows and .NET Framework.

• Experience in development on the iOS or Android platforms.
