Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in North Charleston, SC. You will join the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management team driving Next-Gen Platform capability development and solution delivery. It will include major updates that extend connectivity across Boeing, its suppliers, and customers for Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S). Our Information Digital Technology & Security team is currently looking for Developers to join our Visualization Team. This team manages world leading Visualization and Spatial Integration applications that ensure engineering designs are free from interferences and integration problems. Additionally, these tools support our manufacturing teams to allow our mechanics to understand assembly parts within the context of airplane systems. Our team supports the development of applications within the Visualization portfolio spanning Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Defense & Space Systems (BDS).

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java and Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices
  • Create and manage user interfaces with HTML and JavaScript
  • Work with C++ for performance-critical 3D visualization applications
  • Utilize MSSQL databases for data management and retrieval
  • Implement Pub/Sub messaging patterns to enhance application scalability
  • Contribute to 3D visualization projects and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) engineering translation
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Build and integrate complex software tools to enhance the product's reliability and scalability
  • Support setting up development and production environments, deployment of application devices
  • Develop best practices/methodologies for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
  • 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C#
  • Experience in an agile work environment
  • Experience with Development Operations (DevOps) and/or Development Security Operations (DevSecOps)
  • Experience working with data visualization
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Angular framework
  • Experience with Hoops Exchange and CAD data management
  • Experience with cloud services and deployment in AWS
  • Experience with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with CAD Engineering Translation
