About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Programmer Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to work with an amazing product team and combines programming skills with analytical expertise to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, particularly in the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, Python, C#, SQL)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with database management systems and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as IDEs, version control systems (e.g., Git), and debugging tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in programming, software development, or system analysis.

  • Experience with Salesforce/Apex code
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and APIs
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, AWS).

Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, code, test, debug, and implement software applications including Salesforce products
  • Modify and enhance existing programs to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform, apex, and Salesforce products including Service Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation or improvement.
  • System Analysis: Evaluate existing systems and recommend upgrades or improvements.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure software meets business requirements.
  • Identify and resolve bugs or performance issues.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and operational procedures.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for deployed applications and systems.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business analysts.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
