About The Position

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for developing and modifying application systems by encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs to meet business needs. The Programmer Analyst will work closely with Help Desk staff to assist with escalated tickets and determine future software development needs.

Requirements

  • One year of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another IT-related field
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Successful candidates must currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona Driver's license by the time of hire
  • Must secure a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET programming languages, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with modern web languages and extensions (JavaScript, jQuery, MVC, SPA, Bootstrap, SAOP, JSON)

Responsibilities

  • Develop customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM through writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, .NET, and related technologies such as HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Lead the daily activities of the Help Desk staff and work to resolve escalated concerns.
  • Provides escalated technical assistance to system users.
  • Completes end-to-end deployment and maintenance for application and case management software (HSD Dynamics), including documentation, programming, system testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoots problems as liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations and recommends solutions.
  • Participates in or provides end-user training, interpreting and translating functional technical terms to make them understandable to the end-user.
  • Develops and implements modifications of applications, troubleshooting programming problems to isolate program issues and takes appropriate action to correct.
  • Deploys migrations to new versions of the systems including system testing, data conversion, application set-up, and system upgrades.
  • Participate in on-call support of production issues.
  • Leads a Help Desk team.
