As a Programmer Analyst, you will gather client requirements and develop software programs based on those requirements. You will work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance using methodologies like the Waterfall model and Agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with other developers and testing teams to ensure deliverables are on track and provide status updates during standup calls regarding ongoing projects and enhancements. Additionally, you will assist with software development efforts as determined by the project management team, design application UI/UX screens with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and develop databases, programs, and procedures necessary to integrate and implement systems. You will also participate in database design, create stored procedures and indexes in relational databases such as SQL, carry out unit testing/functional testing of the application developed using the MS Test Framework, and work with Business Analysts, Production Support Team, and other IT professionals to help identify and resolve issues in the production environment. Lastly, you will assist the Project Team in reconciling legacy computer functions with current business requirements and modern information technology standards.
