About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Systems and Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in various locations including Mesa, Arizona, Hazelwood, Missouri, Huntsville, Alabama, Kent, Seattle, Tukwila, Washington, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, El Segundo and Seal Beach, California. The role involves advanced SQL and scripting, Cognos reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence to support procurement and supply chain management. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining computing applications, as well as gathering and evaluating end-user requirements. This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work, and is for the 1st shift.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• More than 3 years of experience with information technology, data analytics, and/or system architectures.
• More than 3 years of experience in data analytics.

Nice To Haves

• More than 3 years of experience working with Compass Contract, MESci, IBI (Cognos) systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, implement, document, and maintain computing applications.
• Gather and evaluate end-user requirements.
• Write and compile code and construct database objects based on documented design.
• Analyze information to determine architecture specifications and application security needs.
• Modify or upgrade applications to maintain software functionality.
• Identify and resolve programming or application architecture problems.
• Review system performance and recommend improvements.
• Produce ad-hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly data summaries to support business processes.
• Develop, manage, and support reports using Cognos Analytics and other business intelligence tools.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights relevant to procurement and supply chain management.
• Prepare instructional materials, train end-users, and provide ongoing technical support.
