Role Overview This Programme Lead role will oversee E3G’s efforts to accelerate industrial decarbonisation internationally, working with governments and diplomatic initiatives to increase cooperation among countries on decarbonising industrial production processes, activating new leaders, growing clean economy opportunities for EMDEs via work on green industrialisation and expanding the geographic scope of E3G’s Clean Economy petal. Reporting to the Associate Director for Clean Economy, this role will work alongside the Programme Lead for EU Industrial Transition, managing a multi-location team across E3G’s Europe Offices. You will play an essential role to lead, shape, coordinate, and manage multi-year initiatives to accelerate industrial decarbonisation internationally. The role requires working across the organisation with other teams and building strategic partnerships and strong relationship management across governments, multilaterals, and non-state actors to drive climate outcomes within a complex geopolitical landscape. The successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and team-oriented. The role will require a deep understanding of the connections between industrial decarbonisation, trade and climate policy and a strong interest in the cross-cutting institutions and polices needed to deliver ambitious climate action.
